Lil’ Bit Of Basil In Ma Life….

Basil Plant

When it comes to making food at home, I’ve been super lazy. I use to be inspired by random things during grocery shopping trips and rush home to cook. Lately, I barely go for grocery trips (Thanks mom!), so I might not as inspired to put a meal together. No matter how simple it could be.

The other day I happen to join my mom on a grocery trip and I saw a table full of these little basil pots and I had to buy one. Little I knew, this basil pot would be a start of a crazy run of rustic breakfasts and snacks. Give a hungry Persian girl some inspiration and she’ll run with it…. The Rude Boy

ph. blogTO

Over this past weekend with the beautiful weather we were having I decided to come down with a cold. Banh Mi Boys

Banh Mi Boys located just west of Spadina and Queen street is a hidden gem to the untrained eyes. A small hole in the wall few doors down from the famous Spadina/Queen McDonald’s, Banh Mi Boys is a true Toronto hotspot.

Prohibition Gastrohouse…. FoodbySAJE

I know its been a long time since my last entry, blame it on the Holiday rush and a bit of laziness. So I thought the best way to break this silence is to start with a food entry!

Couple of weeks ago my foodie friend Rainbow LC and I checked out Prohibition GastroHouse during the Winterlicious. I usually don’t venture out to the Queen east area but I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and of course the food. Think elevated pub grub. The decor was casual but was given some touches of elegance and cheeky twist , the menu sounded and was delicious. Here is what’s on the menu…..
