I know its been a long time since my last entry, blame it on the Holiday rush and a bit of laziness. So I thought the best way to break this silence is to start with a food entry!

Couple of weeks ago my foodie friend Rainbow LC and I checked out Prohibition GastroHouse during the Winterlicious. I usually don’t venture out to the Queen east area but I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and of course the food. Think elevated pub grub. The decor was casual but was given some touches of elegance and cheeky twist , the menu sounded and was delicious. Here is what’s on the menu…..

Love the “Hooch Hour”…lol….We started with Caesar and green salad….

2 orders of duck poutine… They were delicious and filled with delicious duck pieces….

And for the dessert, Chocolate Mousse with Shortbread Biscuits, Chunky Strawberry Coulis, Isigny Sainte-Mère Whipped Cream and Cheesecake Red Velvet Base, Wild Blueberry Topping, Isigny Sainte-Mère Whipped Cream. They were so cute and delicious.

We both enjoyed our experience at Prohibition and after taking a look at their regular menu we are planning to come back and try more items off of the menu!
