Among the four old bridges that span the river, the Ponte Vecchio, that bridge which is covered with the shops of jewellers and goldsmiths, is a most enchanting feature in the scene. Florence is something else but Ponte Vecchio and the feel of it is just out if this world. People forget all those shops are on top of a bridge and held up by a pretty old structure. I managed to take some scenic & family shots in the exact spot he mentioned. He is right on the money with how it frames the view.
