God Save the Queen Event – Designer Panel and Trunk Show

Solmaz attended the God Save the Queen Gala (click here for the post) and I attended the designer panel discussion and trunk show the next day at The Room at The Bay Queen Street Store. Unfortunately because of ever-present traffic on the highways, I was a bit delayed in reaching The Bay so I ended up being a little late to the event. (Sorry everyone…)

When I reached The Room the designer panel was well underway with the British designers and Leith Clark, the editor-in-chief of Lula Magazine. The discussion was focused on London Fashion and how they were influenced the city.

There were a couple of trunk shows that took place prior to the panel that I missed but I did manage  see some models wearing Erdem and Giles. The clothes were absolutely stunning on the models and it made me wish that I was gorgeously Amazonian and had a limitless budget to purchase some of the dresses for myself!

Giles:

Erdem:

All of the designers gave interviews after the panel discussion and mingled with the shoppers and media that were present at the event. It was a great way for The Room to present the British designers’ collections and garner a lot of attention from shoppers and media alike.

Check out the slide show for more pictures from The Room!
