Shoe Porn By Rupert Sanderson

I saw these Hydra pumps by Rupert Sanderson some time ago at the Queen street Location of The Bay (The Room) and I can’t stop thinking about them. Killer heels, super comfortable and oh so pretty. The color combo makes it both a nice basic shoe and a fun pair of peep toes to add to any shoe closet. I tried them on and they make me look like a giant and I loved it, but since I can’t really handle myself on a heel like that there’s a flat version of Hydra available in suede (Mymy). God Save the Queen Event – Designer Panel and Trunk Show

Solmaz attended the God Save the Queen Gala (click here for the post) and I attended the designer panel discussion and trunk show the next day at The Room at The Bay Queen Street Store. (Sorry everyone…) When I reached The Room the designer panel was well underway with the British designers and Leith Clark, the editor-in-chief of Lula Magazine. The discussion was focused on London Fashion and how they were influenced the city.

Being talented and very tall (she’s know for her height of 6’4″) she scored her first modeling job with Chanel and moved to Paris. After modeling for years, she realized her love for the art of designing and styling. L’Wren eventually moved to LA and became a stylist and a costume designer for movies and in 2006 she started the brand L’Wren Scott with her “Little Black Dress” collection. Spring/Summer 2011 collection is all about great silhouettes and lots of sequins, beads and color! I don’t remember seeing many collections that offered pieces from Black all the way to the blues, greens, red, yellows and white. It’s going to be all …
