I came across a funny book today titled “Undateable: 311 Things Guys Do That Guarantee They Won’t Be Dating or Having Sex” which is a guide of sorts for men who are doing it all wrong when it comes to attracting women. It’s actually kinda funny since it’s an idea that has been floating in my head the past couple of weeks. Every other day I come across some douchebag type or some poor clueless man wearing or doing something completely insane and stupid that makes me go….”wtf” and cringe.

The two authors of the book, Ellen Rakieten and Anne Coyle, sum up 311 dealbreakers when it comes to guys. I haven’t had a chance to check out the actual book yet but I’ve come across some excerpts and I pretty much agreed with every single thing. I think this book will have most women nodding and giggling in agreement at the examples of “Undateables.”

Some examples:

-Guys who wear sunglasses indoors

-Guys who wear Ed Hardy

-Guys who wear mesh shirts (or anything mesh for that matter would be scary)

It made me think about some of the things that would totally turn me off from a guy. Here are some of mine…

-Guys who are mama’s boys. (I love men who are good to their mothers and family of course but if he’s still dependent on mom for everything… get me outta there.)

-Guys who drive the following: Corvette (flashy car but for that price you can get something better performing and nicer looking), Charger (it’s freakin’ ugly and old man-ish) and any kind of trucks/vans/station wagon type of cars.

-Guys who wear ugly shoes and watches. (Please pay attention to the details!)

What are your deal-breakers? What will make you run the opposite way from a guy?

I think all women should make lists and then we should compile it into a “Master Guide Book for Men.” Besides, it would make dating so much easier.
