After having so much fun at the One Of A Kind Christmas show last year I decided to attend the show this spring to find new artists and visit my favorites from last season. Well Hello Mr. Porter!

On Friday the 18th of February, the highly anticipated online luxury men’s only fashion retailer Mr Porter opened for business for a few lucky “Founding Members”. Having the entire long weekend to go through the website and drool over some of the pieces, I thought it would be great idea to share some of my favorite parts about Mr Porter.   Besides having the usual easy to find categories to sort through hundreds and hundreds of items from luxury brands, Mr Porter provides a few extra categories to guide any guy while they are shopping on their website. The Journal is filled with interesting style and fashion related articles as well as few tips on something as random as a how to on shucking oysters; but my favorite part of the website is the last two categories, Style Directory and Wardrobe Manager. Style Directory takes away the guess-work out of shopping, providing style guidance from A to Z. From finding style inspiration from well-known style icons to learning about how to wear a suit or …

One Of A Kind Show

Thanks to Susan Tyndall of O Live PR, I was invited for the media breakfast at this year’s One Of A Kind Show. The breakfast for this event was prepared by students at George Brown College Chef School. On the menu, Scottish eggs, cornflake crusted french toast and fresh fruit salads to just name a few. I loved the breakfast because it was freshly made and presented in a beautiful way and according to other media members “it’s the best media breakfast event”. I agree with them! If you guys have never been to the One Of A Kind Show, I absolutely recommend it. There are booths after booths of talented Canadian artists displaying and selling their beautiful handmade products. It’s the best place to go to find those little special pieces for you or your loved ones. I even loved walking around at the show because of all the beautiful displays I found it a very happy and visually stimulating environment. Tomorrow I’m going back to the show to revisit my favorite booths. Can’t …
