Fiat 500 By Gucci

For years now I’ve been talking with my friends to go back to Italy where we all met for the first time during a university abroad program in a little town called Siena. After hearing about the launch of 500 by Gucci during the Milan Fashion Week, I think I have more reasons to make that trip sooner than later. I would love to give this car a try because the first family car related memories that I have is from our little red Fiat 128, another reason is that it would be fun to zip through all the narrow streets in Siena with the 500 and lets face it, this car is super stylish and adorable!

500 by Gucci is a collaboration between the Italian car maker and Gucci’s creative director Frida Giannini to celebrate Gucci’s 90th anniversary. The 500 by Gucci will initially be available from April 1st to June 30th (in Italy), exclusively by pre-order online at www.500bygucci.com, starting from 17,000 euros or about $24,000. But if that’s a big price tag for a limited edition Fiat, you can buy one of the pieces from the exclusive 500 by Gucci collection: travel accessories, small leather goods, tracksuits, bombers, driving gloves, glasses and a watch for both men and women, available from April in select Gucci stores and online at www.gucci.com. I can’t wait to see the 500 in person whenever it hits the North American market, I think it would be a cool car to test out!

Here’s a little more information about the 500: Continue reading “Fiat 500 By Gucci”

I Want A Daihatsu Copen!!!

Have you guys ever seen this car before, it’s the most adorable car around, at least in my opinion. The Copen made by the Japanese car maker Daihatsu is the best car for a city like Toronto. It’s small, easy to park and it looks oh so adorable!

I like the yellow color for this car. I’m not sure if I want to drive it on a highway for too long but I think it’s a cute little toy car made for city girls like myself. I want one of these cars but there’s one little problem, they’re not sold in Canada. Continue reading “I Want A Daihatsu Copen!!!”

From Paddington Bear to Top Gear

Being a fan of British anything I recently came across an interesting fact about two of my favorite Brit things, Paddington toy bear and Jeremy Clarkson, journalist and host of Top Gear. The first Paddington Bear was created by Gabrielle Designs in 1972, a small business run by Shirley and Eddie Clarkson, with the prototype made as a Christmas present for their children Joanna and … Continue reading From Paddington Bear to Top Gear
