“MICHI represents enduring sophistication, alluring femininity, exceptional quality and impeccable fit. MICHI originated from the desire to fill the gap between provocative, glamorous lingerie and comfortable, utilitarian athletic wear.” Michelle Watson the designer behind MICHI has definitely filled that gap with her SS2012 collection. The MICHI runway show was one of the most entertaining and fun shows so far this season, the models really knew … Continue reading LGFW SS2012 – MICHI

Finally it’s here, the first day of Toronto Fashion week, new venue, new runway and new clothes. Before we were allowed to go in, I took a walk around the tents to see how it was set up and I must say I enjoy the new location and the whole tent thing. It has a NYFW vibe to it and it creates a buzz around the neighborhood. Everyone wants to know what the Canada Cool tent is all about.
Now the first show of the night was Holt Renfrew’s “There’s No Place Like Holts” celebrating Canadian designers such as Jeremy Laing, Smythe, Denis Gagnon and few others. I enjoyed the opening speeches and the runway, Kind a gets you pumped up for the week ahead.
Tomorrow is the first day of Toronto Fashion Week. I’m excited to see what’s in the works from our Canadian designers and learn about up and coming designers. Another little thing to be excited about is that LGFW has a new home. The new site is at the David Pecaut Square, steps away from TTC! I’m excited that I don’t have to drive everyday to … Continue reading Canada Cool @ The LGFW
