On October 14th and 15th, The Bay held a two-day welcoming party to a group of talented British contemporary fashion designers Charlotte Olympia Dellal, Giles Deacon, Mark Fast, Erdem Moralioglu, Jonathan Saunders, Marios Schwab, and Nicholas Kirkwood. The first day of the “God Save the Queen” event started with an invite only gala held at The Room, which was transformed into a fashion gallery showcasing each designers work. The attendees at the event included socialites, fashion industry’s who’s who and media. Interestingly, two of the “British” designers are in fact, Canadian, but they are based out of London. Designers Erdem Moralioglu and Mark Fast are two of the best examples of Canadian talent and I am glad that they are so well-known globally for their designs.
Thanks to my co-workers massive music collection I started looking up some favorite music from the 90s and I found some fantastic songs and videos that brought back memories from my highschool years. So I decided to make some time and post some of my favorite oldies here, I don’t even know if half these people are still around. The music videos are not the best quality and the cheese factor is HIGH! I’ll try doing few videos every once in while so it wouldn’t be too over whelming bringing those memories for you guys. So Enjoy! Jon Secada – If You Go Gala – Free From Desire Real McCoy – Automatic Lover (Call For Love) Real McCoy – Another Night had to put this one on too, lots of fun memories. sa
