I love Sundays. Sunday is the only day in the week that I get to sleep in, stay in my PJs all day and have VIP access to my couch. It’s GREAT!! Sunday is the day I take some time to catch up on what’s going on in the news, answer a few emails and watch LOTS of tv and yes, cook some delicious food for myself. Homemade food is amazing… So here is a roundup of my Sunday… Woke up just in time to say “I woke up this morning!” – 11.49am. Made myself some French toast for breakfast, been craving it since last week.
On October 14th and 15th, The Bay held a two-day welcoming party to a group of talented British contemporary fashion designers Charlotte Olympia Dellal, Giles Deacon, Mark Fast, Erdem Moralioglu, Jonathan Saunders, Marios Schwab, and Nicholas Kirkwood. The first day of the “God Save the Queen” event started with an invite only gala held at The Room, which was transformed into a fashion gallery showcasing each designers work. The attendees at the event included socialites, fashion industry’s who’s who and media. Interestingly, two of the “British” designers are in fact, Canadian, but they are based out of London. Designers Erdem Moralioglu and Mark Fast are two of the best examples of Canadian talent and I am glad that they are so well-known globally for their designs.
This is why I haven’t been posting any entries for the past month, at least not proper ones. I’ve been sitting around for weeks doing absolutely nothing except soaking up the beautiful warm sun and cooling off in turquoise water and playing in soft sand. I was away celebrating my best friend’s wedding in Nikiti, Greece. Now that I’m back, rested and ready for the real world again (righttt…) I promise I’ll be on top of my posts. So stay tunes in! xoxo TdotGirl
