On CNN today they posed the question: Why is there no looting in Japan?
Duh! What is it that the American newcasters don’t understand about other civilizations & cultures and why do they need to compare it to the aftermath of let’s say, New Orleans?

I saw that report on CNN about the looting too.
I think one of the reasons that there is no looting in Japan is because the Japanese culture/people believe in the word “we” and would do what’s possible to help their community specially at times like this. Not all cultures or societies think that way, which is unfortunate and causes more grief than anything else.
