On October 14^th and 15^th, The Bay held a two-day welcoming party to a group of talented British contemporary fashion designers Charlotte Olympia Dellal, Giles Deacon, Mark Fast, Erdem Moralioglu, Jonathan Saunders, Marios Schwab, and Nicholas Kirkwood. The first day of the “God Save the Queen” event started with an invite only gala held at The Room, which was transformed into a fashion gallery showcasing each designers work. The attendees at the event included socialites, fashion industry’s who’s who and media.

Interestingly, two of the “British” designers are in fact, Canadian, but they are based out of London. Designers Erdem Moralioglu and Mark Fast are two of the best examples of Canadian talent and I am glad that they are so well-known globally for their designs.
